I got an iPad recently and I’ve decided I’d like to get AFM via the app instead of the paper copies. Is there a way of transferring my subscription?

I bought an iPad2 for myself just before Christmas, and my annual subscription to Airliner World expired after the January edition, so I am now just waiting for the February edition to be released so that I can get it electronically rather than by paper, as the magazines I have just sit on a shelf and rarely ever get looked at again, whereas with an electronic copy I am more than likely to look at them more.
That’s very generous of Key to refund your current subscription…as it works out cheaper to subscribe electronically than all of the other subscription methods.
You can then buy an electronic subscription as an “in-app purchase”, once you have downloaded the app itself from the App Store.

Hi, My name’s James and I work for Key Publishing in their IT deptartment. I’ve spoken with Subscriptions for you and there is a solution where by they can refund your current subscription so you can then rebuy your subscription on the iPad without incuring any extra costs.
Please email: info@keypublishing.com with attention to “Subscriptions” or you can call mail-order on: +44 (0) 1780 480404
Regards,
James

I dont think so, as you dont buy the App from Key; you buy it from a third party.
Although I quite like reading magazines on the ipad, I have to admit they get read much less than those can be dragged off to the loo!
