Pretty awesome I should say for a mindless entertainment summer movie. IMO certainly beats the trio of tri-sequels (Spidey, Shrek and Pirates) and actually has more laughs than Shrek 3.
Lots of military equipment on display and a lot of them don’t look like they were done in CG but with some DoD cooperation. They include, the Raptor, the F-16, the A-10, AWACS, some helos, and the M-1 Abrams which ended up being thrown around like a toy. The Autobots seem to prefer turning into GM cars (Camaro, Pontiac, etc,.) and the US gov MIB types seem to be driving GMC vans, making the movie a thin GM commercial.
Starscream turns into a Raptor this time and then proceeds to rip apart a few Raptors himself. There is also some really great A-10 footage engaging a Decepticon, which may have been shot live rather through CGI, then with the CGI added later.
