Travel Air G-AAOK

Just came across some photos of Travel Air G-AAOK, on the Internet. Did not find much info about it, other than the photos. Who owns it now? Is it still in UK? Contact info, etc?

I thought it is very likely the same Travel Air 12Q/W that we sent to Philip Mann, back in 1979. We had also sent him our PanAm instrument trainer, Rearwin Cloudster 8135T, another Rearwin Sporster, and Arrow Sport biplane, along with engine parts for his rare Genet-Powered Civilian Coupe. (had to come back and edit this post, as I SOMEhow forgot the Lysander..!)Hard to believe the back of this Travel Air photo is stamped “1979”. Time flies.

Thank you so much for this very useful information. I believe that site will be very enjoyable for me. I have to admit that the Travel Air looks even better now. :applause:

It is with Shipping and Airlines at Biggin Hill, in a rather nice blue and yellow scheme. They also have the Civilian Coupe, Sportster and a Miles Messenger.
