Trending collectables book -2015

After coming across this book recently I though it was worth a plug for fellow aviation collectors. Titled Trending collectables 2015 Military aviation review, it covers military aviation artefacts which have been sold over the past year by dealers and collectors. Nice clear layout, Catorgories covered are flying headgear, flying clothing, uniforms, life jackets/parachutes, escape evasion, wings and badges, relics, aircraft parts, grips yokes, ephemera etc. Hundreds of colour photos of items in over 140 pages, short description of each item and prices sold. Very much like the Miller collectables book but this one specialises in Aviation military memorabilia WW1-WW11. Nice welcome reference guide to the collecting field, hopefully which will be updated every year.
ISBN 978-1-943492-00-8.
Before you ask, I have no connections to the author or publisher but just thought I would give it a plug as a there are not many of these books about for the aviation collector / aerojumbler.

An extremely useful guide, which will be regularly updated, giving actual prices realised across a broad spectrum of collectibles.

A review copy has recently landed on the Britain at War desk and I can say without hesitation that this is a most welcome addition to the world of collecting and is also produced by one of the most knowledgeable experts in the field. Superbly put together and very well illustrated indeed.

Not sure how much of a useful overview you’ll get of such a broad range of collectables in only 140 pages?

Thanks for posting. Would be interested to to thumb through a copy, especially the stick and yoke pages!

Hi Ian,
In this 2015 edition there were about 6-7 different grips /sticks and 2 yokes covered. They were listed under the aircraft parts section amongst other items such as compasses, switches, etc. None the less an interesting all round book. Bought my copy on eBay via a book dealer £14.99 + free postage
