I don’t think I am missing anything, I have not seen a word concerning the passing of Trevor Egginton.
He died on Sunday last following a heart attack, worthy of your respect, your admiration and a tear or two.
Holder of the Helicopter World Air Speed Record (400.87kph, 249.17mph) still standing 28years later.
A truly great pilot, a modest and gentle man, and a great airman

Very sad news indeed. I was in touch with him a few years ago regarding his time flying Sabres and Hunters with 67 Squadron. A true gentleman.
