Anyway, isn’t MAN’s low cost carrier terminal at the far end of the M56? :diablo:

Plans are for the AVP to be a parking apron or a car park,there are also rumors the site will be used as a low cost carrier terminal.

Trust me,its gonna happen.when you get a phone call from the guy that is now running the AVP and he tells me that the Trident may have to go to EMA and there is no room for it and he also said the move will happen sooner rather than later. I am not joking!!!,dont forget the guy is my boss.

Hmmm…. let’s see.

MAN Plc can either:

a) Carry out their plan to adjust the taxiways in the NW corner of the airfield to ease ground congestion and provide unobstructed taxying clearance to and from T2 for the A380/B777-300, or

b) Scrub all this to save spotters a longer bus ride to the Viewing Park.

Now, which of these do you think is the more likely to happen, Matt? 🙂

I can’t see how this move is gonna happen?? They have Concorde, the Monarch nose, Vampire and Avro to move, the shops, a new car park and all that. They only just added extentions to the car park and the viewing areas. IMO it won’t happen.

Bmused,i know the guy that made that model,he also visited ZK for the detail work,ref EMA yeah i think it would be ok to send her there.But im a member of TAS but this is down to Man Airport,the reason for this is that the Viewing park is gonna move over the other side near the fire station ,and it has been said there is no room for ZK!!! 😡
