Hi,
I thought i’d give you all one of my trip reports which is from today, it’s pretty diffrent as I went on a sunday instead of a saturday and I also went with a freind of mine who hasn’t been to an airport before which was exciting for her, and to make it even better, the 1st plane she saw close up was a cathay pacific cargo B747 take-off! 😮 😀
I didn’t get many pictures as me and my m8 spent alot of time on the bouncy castle! We went on it 5 times and I rolled off and hurt myself! :p
Anyway the main highlights I saw were:
Cathay pacific B74F, PIA B777, British airways B767, U.S A330, Excel B737, China airlines cargo B74F, Monarch A300 in new c/s, Finnair B757, Aer lingus B737, My travel A330, BMI A330 with star alliance c/s. That’s all I can think of right now, Pictures coming soon when I am able to put them on the computer and resize them!:o

I can imagine! Oh, I wish they sent a B747-400 over to Manchester.

yup, routed several widebodies all over the country that weekend, got rather confusing!

Oh really, Did a BA B777 do the same as well as I saw a picture of it on that day?
By: Mark L - 24th May 2004 at 22:05
The BA 767 was going to Cardiff for a football match.
By: MANAIRPORTMAD - 24th May 2004 at 22:01
ah, my mistake. 😮 😀
I will try and get my pictures on here as soon as possible, it includes a BA B767 which was probably doing a Shuttle flight as it was late afternoon. I never saw the new AA B757 service though, does that operate on a sunday or does it just depart early?
Thanks,
MANAIRPORTMAD!! 😉
