The above-named film, starring Christopher Plummer, included several scenes showing a handsome ‘Luftwaffe’ aircraft being used to parachute the spy (Plummer) into enemy territory.
It had twin fins, and looked a bit like a Lockheed, but also had a fully glazed nose and seemed to have Gypsy engines. So I doubt it was a Lockheed.
Anyone know what it was? Any pics?

Yes it was made in France. Based on the real – life story of Eddie Chapman. Apparently Chapman was never happy with the film and now his full story has been published (in “Agent Zigzag”) we could have a more accurate remake!

Yes, it must have been the Siebel, and a ‘damned attractive aircraft’ it was too.
But how did they get one to use in the film? It seems that the film may have been made in France, so perhaps some lucky Frenchman still has it.
