Hi.Looking through the departures on the Malta airport website,i noticed an Emirates A330 flight going from Malta-Tripoli-Dubai.Seeing this it made me wonder what other airlines operate in to Tripoli and what the airport is actuallly like,i only know that KM,LN and EK do operate in.Does anyone know any other information on the Airport or what other airlines operate to there,i suppose there ain’t many european airlines there although maybe a few Middle Eastern and african airlines.
Thanks!Regards Saab 2000

RE: Tripoli Airport
Tripoli Airport has made a lot of strides since the lifing of sanctions two years ago. Most of Europe’s major airlines fly their
as do a good number of Middle Eastern and African airlines which include ; Libyan, Tunisair, Egyptair, Royal Jordanian, Emirates, Syrian air, Sudanese, Turkish Airlines, Air Malta, Lufthansa, British, Austrian, Swissair, Tarom, Pakistan International and Cyprus Airlines, among others. The airport has been refurbished and boasts a new duty free section plus first class lounges and an internat cafe.It has a long way to go before it can call itself a world class airport, but it has improved a lot in the past two years.
