hi all
heard there was another tristar at pik so went down for it akso took my camcorder and videoed it departing 31 at pik this will ne on flightlevel 350 .com
also a few bizjets and a emb 135 can anyone tell me the airline please

Fanatastic pictures of the Tristar. What an incredible aircraft it is! I had the opportunity to fly on one with BA to the Middle East in the early eighties. Smooth and comfortable flight all the way to our destination. I wish these aircraft would have lasted a little longer in service with European airlines.

Jamie …maximum of three of us…and we had the same on 747’s various types a Boeing 707(freighter) VC10’s and some lucky souls(not me:( )Concorde……. Good old BA 😀
I have about a minutes worth of footage of Concorde testing at PIK prior to full production. This was the version with the short tail cone and no front visor. Must pop it up on You Tube sometime….
The chap who gave it to me also managed to get on board a BA Concorde, training at PIK some years later in the Landor era.

I remember ….oh must be 1980….BA had just gotten their L1011’s.As a young (lol)air trafficker at Scottish Centre they invited us up on the training flights…3 hours of touch and go’s, engine failure after take off,….happy days…G BEAL if anyone is interested:o
How many of you went up on that thing ?. I would love to have been on it!

sam thats actually the firsr shot lol it had fire engines round it all day due to the smoke comming out the engines
just as a safety measure
