not too clear on “copy and paste”

You need to extract the .bmp file from the zip file you downloaded eg. p51janie.bmp… Now browse to the location you installed the game, by default this will be C:Program FilesUbi SoftIL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten BattlesPaintSchemesSkins <– this is where you will find all the aircraft folders, so, for the example search the folders for P-51D-5NT or the NA version, open the respective folder, copy and paste the .bmp into it and you’re done.
