Truly amazing recoveries and finds out of Russia..!

Sorry about that I forgot to mention about the Hurricane recovery. Not for the faint hearted but I am pleased to read that he was given a full military burial..

I am having trouble finding the Hurricane but the Fw 190 is amazing. Would love to find one of those in my back garden but maybe not a stash of Grenades and Mortars like in one of the pics.

Interestingly, the Hurricane was once based at Duxford prior to departure for the USSR.

Hurricane is in store with Jerry Yagen in the U.S., 190 is under restoration for FHC, not sure which IL-2 it is so can’t say where it is, but one is under restoration in Russia. They are not the same people who recovered the Hurricane shown in Aeroplane Monthly and Classic Wings.

I guess they’re the same chaps that appear in the “other magazine” with the incredible Hurricane recovery uh?
