Trying to identify seaplane from about 1959

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could identify the type of seaplane in the attached photo. It was taken about 1959 in Rockland, Maine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

See you have promoted yourself to Super Cub rivet counter !!

Certainly a Super Cub but not sure about engine size.

I agree it’s a Super Cub, but looking at the photo, it almost looks like the back seat is wider than the front.
If so, it would be a PA-12 Super Cruiser.

Somebody who’s more of a Super cub rivet-counter than I am will have to come up with the ID as to whether it’s a -105, -125, -135, -150, or even -180 Super Cub, though…meanwhile, I’ll try to find out.

It’s a Piper Cub.

Edit: Okay, it’s a Super Cub! 🙂
