I’ve often seen british writers lamenting on the cancellation of the TSR2 saying it would have been a great aircraft. But I never read of it stats and capabilities.
Can someone give us a brief ?

Nice shot dude. You should think about making a mount for the model to sit on that bracket (without damaging the bracket obviously !).
Hmmmm. …Newark have some in stock ?…wonder if I might be able to strike a bargain with them at the ‘Fest

Just my personal response to what seems to be a return to ‘bizarre market situation’ where you can buy from some traders at a cheaper price than you can wholesale from the manufacturer!
😮 Sorry to have detracted from your excellent collection Tony!

Not sure there TwinOtter23 ? , if you mean in choice, quality etc its been a great year so far for collectors. I’ve got the TSR-2, an F-84, a fantastic Skyraider and a nice “clipped” wing FAA Corsair.

Oh I don’t know Twotter – I think we’re starting to see an upswing, particularly on prop jobbies!
Are you a collector or do you trade as well?
Regards,
Frank

…Not badly priced that (considering the RRP – surely, no-one buys direct from Corgi do they?!)…
Obviously not .. that’s why the market’s gone flat!! 😡

Ah yes, I think said big cat is just “Oop t’road” from me in Rochdale! 🙂
Not badly priced that (considering the RRP – surely, no-one buys direct from Corgi do they?!). I’ve got 20 of the bugg@rs waiting for the summer season amongst others although house looking like model shop = hard to placate other half!
All we need now is a 1/72 Vulcan to match!! 😀

Frank

Stripey feline?! 😉
By: Rocketeer - 8th March 2010 at 13:37
cheers chaps….the TSR2 was about £60 plus £10 for post from a certain aviating-feline enterprise that advertises it FP!

That little lot looks great – nice one Rocketeer!
May I be cheeky & ask how much she cost you?

Frank

Nice display Tony and there’s me thinking you would buy the die-cast from the Museum Shop at Cockpit-Fest! 😀
They still have a few of them in stock! 😉
By: BSG-75 - 7th March 2010 at 21:25
It is nice isn’t it ?! I got mine a while back and now its in a cabinet with an SR-71 and a F-105 die-cast, you forget how big the thing actually was !

wow that is nice . I initially wanted to save up for the bravo delta wooden one but ARD in hillingdon insisted i should wait for the corgi version . and now i’m not regretting it . Such a beautiful model . Almost like a mini concorde
