Tucker and Tomcats? Over the Vegas Strip for Nellis!

I couldn’t believe this actually happened!!! Flying in the Seneca photoship, we were joined on our left wing by Sean D. Tucker and shortly after, 2 F-14 Tomcats from VF-101.

Our join up was over Lake Meade where we then proceeded to the Vegas Strip. Flying over Vegas as a flight of 4 with those Tomcats bobbing up and down off our wing was simply incredible!!!

Other flights we took over the weekend include a formation with Tucker and the Patriots Aerobatic Team as well as a formation with the Patriots and their support plane, a Saberliner over the Hoover dam.

…Oh, and the airshow was good too!

The Patriots, also known as ‘Airshows America’, were formally known as the Smirnoff Migs. Sean Tucker has been extremely supportive of the team and flies together often.

We did three photoshoots over the weekend. The first shoot was over Indian Springs with Sean and the L-39, the second shoot was with the Tomcats and the third shoot was of the L-39 and the Saberliner support jet over the Hoover Dam.

It’s gotta be illegal to have this much fun!!!

Wow, what are the chances of that happening? Great work !!

What’s the background story with the Patriots L-39?

Tyson-

Now, those are some KICKIN’ photographs….found myself laughing out loud at the ones with Tucker and the Tomcats, I KNOW he loved doin’ that stuff….probably taunted the Tomcat drivers over the radio, wanting to get into a low-speed dogfight with them…and he probably would’ve won! That’s just the way Tucker is, I’ve known him for 10 years now…he’s a real character.

Great stuff, keep up the good shooting!
