Most of the charters add on a subcharge for Scottish departures. MAN and LGW seem to be the cheapest UK charter ports.

Matthew,
You mention that MyTravel fly from Glasgow. I think this is one of the best things about MyTravel that they fly to so many different destinations from regional airports (not that Glasgow really is) but if you look at Humberside, Teeside, Leeds Bradford you can go to places like Rhodes Turkey Larnaca all the Canaries and just a few years ago that would of been unthinkable.
I hope MyTravel keep going for a very very long time!
P.S Did MyTravel one year operate a service to Florida from Teeside? I think I read about it and how big a flop it was. If they did what type of aircraft did they use?
Thanks in advance.

You travel a lot, you get around the place…I think that was the intention.

My friend has just came back from there the other day and according to him it was very nice and warm, but he did stress next time they will pay for extra legroom seats or fly a shceduled carrier! ouch!

I havent been with them before, but My friend has, and she hasn’t got one good word for them. Just a bad experiance, that you cannot judge the whole airline by.

Travelled to Tenerife with them on their newest B757 G-OOBE last week.
Pink uniform & pink seats. Seats a bit uncomfortable for 4 hours as they were very hard.
Food was a pasta bolognaise but I only had a grain of meat in mine.
Same amount of room onboard as all the other charters.

They are your average charter airline so nothing really to note about them. I travelled them last year and I was not exactly impressed with the service though it was only a 1.30 hour flight so no major problems.

It may be the 757:D 🙂 😀

Sorry to correct you, but just thought id point out that Air 2000 also have A321s.
