Summary of events:
20 July 2015: An ISIS suicide bomber targeted SGDF meeting, an organisation to provide aid to the Kurds in Kobani; 31 killed and wounded 76 in Suruc, Turkey.
21-23 July 2015: PKK claimed Turkey is also responsible due to its inability to prevent suicide bomber. As retailation, in different events;
-2 police officer killed in their sleep at their home, PKK took responsibility.
-1 police officer killed, another wounded when they were called for a trafic accident then ambushed by PKK.
-1 gendarmie headquarters was attacked with automatic rifles, no one was killed or injured.
23 July 2015:
-Around 13:30, An ISIS terrorist group attacked Turkish border patrol, killing 1 soldier, injuring 2. One who murdered Turkish soldier was killed immediately, 3 trucks they came with were immediately attacked and destroyed by tanks of the 5th brigade. Terrorists withdraw on foot, entire area was shelled for several hours, causing several fires at Syrian side, as a result number of casualties -if any- were not determined.
-Around 23:30, Turkish artillery shelled numerous ISIS positions in jerablus, killing at least 5, forcing ISIS to abandon positions near the border and withdraw south.
24 July 2015:
-At around 3:40 3 F-16’s belonging to 181th fleet took of from Diyarbakır 8th Main AFB, bombed 3 ISIS locations in northern Syria, (1 assembly point and 2 headquarters). Attack is timed in coordination with MIT intelligence, which expected a gathering of ISIS leaders in the area late midnight. Around 35 ISIS terrorists are assumed killed. Turkish aircraft did not violate Syrian border, but dropped their ordnance from the Turkish side.

-1 doctor and 3 nurses kidnapped along with their ambulance by PKK. Appearantly, they were responding to a false distress also made by PKK.
-At around 22:30, around 20 F-16s belonging to 181th fleet took off, 9 aircraft bombed PKK positions in northern Iraq, remaining aircraft conducted bombing of ISIS positions near Bab. Nothing official from Turkish side, but according to withnesses, Turkish aircraft violated both Syrian and Iraqi airspace this time. PKK confirmed one of their highest ranking commanders is killed, and 3 wounded.
25 July 2015
-News report at 17:10; “In addition to 10 F-16s previously arrived to Diyarbakır, 22 additional F-16 arrived from various airforce bases”.
-Againist PKK, Turkish Air force conducted heavy air assault, in three waves. In the first wave, 70 F-16s took-off from Diyarbakır. 2nd wave started as these F-16s returned base, rearmed and relaunched. 3rd wave is conducted by 25 F-4E 2020 aircraft took-off from 7th Main Air Force Base. In total, 160 sorties conducted, 400 targets in Northern Iraq are bombed during night. EDIT: According to Turkish side of the story, UAV recon flights and intercepted radio calls revealed 190 PKK terrorists died, and around 300 injured. PKK claims 9 died.
-Againist ISIS, positions at Azaz are shelled forcing ISIS to withdraw in the morning of 26th.
-A Gendarmie vehicle responding to a false distres made by PKK, was ambushed by PKK terrorists. Remotely detonated IED killed 2 soldiers, wounded 4.
26 July 2015
-Starting at 8:30, 4 F-16 aircraft bombed PKK positions inside Turkey.
-Several, manned and unmanned recon flights are made to determine situation and the damage inflicted on PKK and ISIS.
27 July 2015
Recon flights made in the morning determined newly formed ISIS positions, and at around 22:30, 9 F-16s bombed these positions in Syria.
29 July 2015
-30 Aircraft operating from various airbases participated in attack PKK groups inside Turkish soil. Another 40 F-16’s operating from 6th main airforce base at Bandırma bombed PKK fortifications in Northern Iraq. Long mission times required Tanker aircraft to support the latter air operation. According to initial reports, 28 PKK terrorists died in this attack.
-Since the beginning of the events, 1302 people, who are suspected to have ISIS, PKK, DHKP-C or Al Qaedah connection are taken into custody.
-3rd Border Battallion of Turkish Land Forces are building modular walls (2,5m high, 1m thick) and digging a 4m deep trench alongside the Syrian Border. News report says 2,5 km wall and 7 km trench is completed, and LLTV cameras will also be added to prevent smuggling and illegal border crossings.
