Starting 2000 local time, Turkish Air Force F-4E 2020s from 7th AJU (Ana Jet Ussu; Main Jet Base) in Malatya and F-16s from 8th AJU in Diyarbakir began bombing camps and installations of terrorist PKK in Northern Iraq. According to video footage taken near Diyarbakir AJU, CN-235EW ELINT/SIGINT aircraft are also supporting the strike.
According to initial news, the targets being hit are located in Qandil region, Zap and Betina in Northern Iraq.
As for now the strikes are reportedly underway. More details to follow (I guess).
