Anybody got more/better pictures?

Those Turkish Fw190Aa-3 had a strange armament: 4xMG17 (7.62mm – two above engine, two in the wing roots) plus 2x MG-FF (20mm – in the outer wings). They flew till 1948.
Here are two good & recent links about the Fw190:

I recall the exhaust note was like a machine gun and had a ‘pillbox slit’ windscreen. A friend had a 1960 ish one. 🙂

Vokeswaggon
Hi Mark 12
I couldn’t help but notice your astute identification of the Fw 190 with the Vokes Filter
Would that make it one of the ultra rare Fw Vokeswaggens then? I had one once great mileage but the armament wasn’t up to much and had very bad stall characteristics.
kindest regards
John P
Hi John,
That’ll be the one.
I too am a great fan.
When ‘Mark I’ came along in 1966, at the height of Harold Wilson’s wage freeze, the Austin Healey had to go, to be replaced by a ‘left hooker’ 1950 Beetle with split rear window, crash gearbox, large wheels and cable brakes. Under the blue paint it was olive drab and assumed to be an ex British Army of the Rhine staff car.
I sure as hell wish I had it now. A real collector’s piece.
