Does anyone recognise this type of Turn and Slip Indicator?
Its smaller diameter than the “standard” large diameter one fitted in Spitfire/Hurricanes, yet looks of the same period or earlier.
Any ideas to the mark, and types fitted too?
The photo shows it fitted into a modern reproduction wooden Blind Flying Panel, so this is a red herring. I have just added this to show its relative size to the surrounding instruments.
Thanks,

We did produce them ,being made by H.A.Chivers. Part Number G6A/3201 type J.153.
I have included photo of 6A/675 (Big),6A/675 (Medium) and J.153 (Small)…..J.153 fits American panels as well as Australian types.
I suspect that the original photo could be a medium size 6A/675, possibly fitted to late war aircraft…. Lancasters and alike.

I had one of these pass through my hands a good 10 years back. Originated from an Australian warbird, I say this because I wonder if the Australians produced their own instruments during wartime?
