'Twas the night before Kemble…

OK I’m probably going to open up a whole can of worms here but it’s now after 11pm and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the lack of Kemble arrival day photos etc and I must say, I like it!

OK I know there are a few at the bottom of an old thread but…well you know what I mean, not obvious. Its even quite difficult to find a participants list.Don’t get me wrong the quality of all pre show photos on here are excellent! Thats not what I meant, but….
It’ll be nice to go tomorrow and be unaware of what to expect, just like the old days. (except for the usual quality of course). Even the Airday website hasn’t been updated since 24th May. Nice. Alright its not to everyones taste and of course I don’t have to look at the postings but I’m weak willed you see and I have to peek.
Lets face it up to the age of forums like this the only time we knew what was going to be at a show was in the month befores magazine or by rumor control. I do however enjoy seeing all the stunning photos that appear after a show ( I wish I could do it as well!) Anyone else have similar views?
Right now wheres that old tin helmet….

I see you have the right contacts, unlike me. I always get kicked off WAY before sunset… Except at lovely Old Warden, of course.

That An-2 looks magic this way!

Sad news about the VC-10. I didn’t photohgraph it as there was too much “clutter” around it (some of it kicking and screaming from the cockpit windows).

Lovely stuff Damien – you never fail to impress! Actually I wouldn’t mind going to a night air show – well floodlit static, anyway, just for a change….now there’s a thought Kemble…

Yes I also think it was a bloody good idea not to post details of the flying display, please can you do the same when you make the 2006 kemble website ?

Oh and since I never got to the 2005 show due to my current problems, please anyone tell me if there will be a DVD of the show on sale soon, and will they be having an open day in September like they did in 2004 ?

I… must… find… participants… list…!!! 😀

Nothing is worse than discovering you missed something you didn’t know was there, when other people show their pics! 😮
So if anybody has a list… 😉
