Twighlight tear

According to the new Flypast this a/c has been put on the us register does anyone know if this is just for test flights or has she been sold ? i hope not as it would be a shame as she is a Duxford veteran

If this is so I’d like to see which serial # they are using. 44-63864 is, shall we say, already taken…

I wonder how far down the restoration stage its at now, had it a year.

There is a photo of a P-51 fuselage in a jig at Chino here: http://warbirdinformationexchange.or…ic.php?t=25188 (picture 5).

Taken on 25 October, it is allegedly the TFC P-51D. There are also some shots of the new Sea Fury T.20 further down

This is a P-51D Mustang that once served at Duxford ?

There was a lot of controversy as to the identity of the aircraft as posted on WIX.

Would it need to be on the US register for the test flights that will be done, when it is finished?
