Ok, this time I have got it right. No more right-click sneaking a peak at the file name! :diablo:
Some of these are hard to find online, so some of the pics are not the best, but good luck! I am looking for the fighter designations here.

Ok, last chance! Clue for this last one, No.4. It was the loser in a French competition.

Sorry, but old mark this machine is realy BB-22. BB-22 is reconnaissace bomber and is it predecessor new heavy fighter I-29 (I- istrebitěl = fighter).
I-29 have two 20 mm cannons under bow. Mark this machine is changing of I-29 to Jak-2, but under construction on bomber his mark is Jak-4. USSR build 600 planes Jak-2/Jak-4, but one prototyp R-12/I-29 only.

Rankl,
No.1 is close, but what was the fighter version originally called? Like the Pe-2, the Yak-4 was originally designed as a fighter. No.2 is right. It looks like the Pe-2/3, but it was a twin-engined heavy escort fighter, but never produced.

Pic no2 lookes like a Tupolev Tu2 ‘Buck’ – the glazed area under the nose was to allow the pilot to see ahead when on the ground.

Is that color picture of the Russian twin engine a Petlaykov Pe-3?
