I recently looked up this old thread:

I was just wondering if anybody knew the current wherabouts/status of the Twin Pioneer at Sion airfield?

Nope, a normal house, but in Earlsdon, which is nice, and nicely within cycling range of the airfield!
Unfortunately the Convair has no facilities, what I really want is an unwanted Shackleton fuselage, as a cunning way of dodging the housing market (whilst probably spending more money!), I wonder if the owners of the Long marston one would sell?

Hopefully I will be able to post some more pictures soon, although my postings may get a bit infrequent in the next week or two due to a house move.
If it all goes a little quiet from my end, don’t worry, I will be back! ;)[/QUOTE]
Are you moving into Conair House then Will? 😉 Just a short step to Kaths Kabin then for tea!

The Twin Pioneer celebrations went very well, see mexicanbob’s thread. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it up there to Prestwick, but thankfully, through a convenient gap in some worrying weather, ‘Primrose’ did!

Dunno about that Will, but haven’t you failed us by not announcing a certain anniversary?
suggest you get another thread going ASAP 😀
