The BBC are reporting G-LEIC down in a field on its back after a presumed forced landing. A man in his 20s, believed to be the pilot, was slightly hurt and a female passenger, in her 60s, was unharmed.

Always land with the furrows! Just kidding.;) Any landing you walk away from is a good landing. I had to go under a powerline once because a student rammed the throttle forward so hard the engine quit during an exercise. My telomeres were significantly shortened. 😮

According to the local rag it happened around 3pm yesterday and was due to engine issues, tried to put down in a flat field but were some furrows that caused it to flip. G-LEIC was reported as having only just had a refurb.
Just glad that both walked away from it.
