Nice to see more Vultees flying.

Yes I agree – it’s a type that as a warbird for me looks ‘right’, and dare I say makes a nice change from a Harvard.

Nice to see more Vultees flying.
I have hunch we’ll see more in the future.
In Texas I knew a CAF member who had one flying but had enough spare fuselage parts for most of another. Also, WIX occasionally shows “Barn finds” of surplus aircraft bought very cheaply “back in the day” and stored.
As these owners (or their estates) sell their collections, more will be out there for restoration.

A well-written report and interesting that a “local” paper would take it up. I bet 70 (?) Chipmunks at Old Warden in May won’t get a mention in the Biggleswade Bugle or whatever the local paper is called.

That may not be the case actually. Local papers ( now an endangered species) have ever-fewer staff, to cover ever-bigger areas as titles are amalgamated
If you spoon feed them some tight editorial and some good pictures, there is a pretty fair chance they will run them, as they always have space to fill, and you are contributing for zero pay- very attractive !
