Two nice pics from Munich (MUC)…

… taken on 05.06.05 to try out my new EOS350D (in combination with a Canon 100-400 L IS). They show a Lufthansa Airbus A340-300 (D-AIMF) on take-off and a Condor Boeing 757-300 (D-ABOH) on short final. Enjoy 🙂

Did you do aviation photography before you brought it, or are these your first attempts?

Yes I did, since many years, although mainly airshows.

My nose kept pressing the two control buttons to the right of the viewfinder

And my nose keeps hitting the buttons to the left of the LCD-display (I use my right eye)! A viewfinder extension is next on the acquisitions list…!

I had a go on a mate’s Canon 350D for the first time today, and I discovered a rather curious ergonomic issue that affects people who use their left eye to look through the viewfinder – or maybe it’s just me.

My nose kept pressing the two control buttons to the right of the viewfinder – which became quite annoying after a while.

Apart from that it’s a nice camera, though.

You can get a viewfinder extension for those problems….I get away with it just by the particular way that I hold/use the camera.

Excellent stuff, the 350D’s very nice eh? Can’t get enough of mine, since I got it a few weeks back. Did you do aviation photography before you brought it, or are these your first attempts?
