I’m in need the following information for both of these planes:
Rudder Area
Fin Area
Fin Height
Tailplane Area
Tailplane Span
Elevator Area
Aileron Area
Control Surface Movement
Max Flap Deflection
Wing Incidence
Dihedrel
Also, does anyone have data for the Napier Sabre engines? Basically just need the power outputs for the II series but any of the later ones would be helpful too! 🙂

I may be able to dig up a few pictures of the Beaufighter under restoration at the US Air Force Museum, if you’re interested. Which version of FS are you building for? I’m currently working on a Beaufighter (update) for CFS2….

Thanks for the tip. I’ll look into those scale plans.
I do have good references for both aircraft and have built the FM’s, but as often is the case this data is not always included!

What do you want it for? If it was for a flying scale model, then I’m sure there are reasonably reliable scale plans which will provide the answers (MAP etc) However they wouldn’t do for full size use though! And there’s at least one set of Beau plans that are notoriously innacurate.

Napier Sabre VA = 2165 hp at moderate supercharge and 3650 rpm at 6500 ft
1930 hp at full supercharge and 3600 rpm at 15750 ft
max. combat rating 2600 hp at moderate supercharge and 3850 rpm at 2500 ft
2300 hp at full supercharge and 3850 rpm at 12750 ft
max. take-off power 2300 hp at moderate supercharge and 3850 rpm at sea level
