Typhoon Reprosseced Datas!

They get datas based on the 1996 typhoon, with 9.7t empty, exellents T/W ratio and ITR etc… but
the Typhoon who will be operational took weight on his reshaped structure, and today empty weight is 11.145t.

it already wasn’t a great agility “air show” plane due to his unbalanced CoG compared to others delta canards, providing wide evasives and noisy evolutions, compared to his challengers, but after a short reprocess , Typhoon will be closer to Gripen T/W ratio and supercruise than little Rafale of “french air force” version!

they rate the 1500 engines delivery EJ200 to 89kN
11.145t=109kN
178kN/109kN=1.63 T/W ratio

but even with the upgrade, 10% improvement at 97.9kN in 2010
the T/W ratio will be 1.78

with single seat Rafale C:
9.06t=88.78kN
150kN/88.78kN=1.68 T/W

but with Rafale Mk2 “90kN” engine operational in 2005!
9.2t=90.16kN
180kN/90.16kN=2 T/W ratio.

the 2010 improvement will be the M88-4 111kN
T/Wratio will be 2.43

It’s very curious they don’t release updated datas!
