Typhoon Spade Grip

Hi everybody,

I wanted to share a photo of my Typhoon Spade grip with you. I am mainly collecting German control grips but also like RAF grips.

Cheers,
Roger

German control stick

Hello,

Does anybody have a German plane control stick in his collection? I would love to see pictures 🙂

What about starting this thread as a collection of photos of your control sticks? 🙂

Cheers,
Roger

No Luftwaffe Lightnings I’m afraid, but if their had been, this is what it would have looked like !!

Had a Hunter one plus some instruments, gave them to Fort Paull to go in ‘509 when they rescued it after the Hull chavs ransacked it while it was outside Humbrol. They were only gathering dust at mine and should hopefully prove useful to 509, still sometimes kinda wish I’d kept them though…:(

Great sticks! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Does anybody have a German control stick he would consider for a trade?

Cheers,
Roger

Same here Tim, yours is a very memorable piece from BoBTaN. Chris, yes, Blenheim and Javelin, also Belvedere (I think) Scimitar and Meteor. Collected through cheapness more than rarity, the Blenheim being the best price of all…

They did release a cover version a month for a whole year, but missed Mustang Sally. Good try.

Lovely to hear you say that Tim……..I often hear people with nil knowledge saying otherwise, so it is great to hear your learned view. My avatar piccie is my Hurri spade grip from an aircraft that had to be repaired in 1938/9 and removed as a souvenir by the pilot!

Cannot think why ALL fighter a/c did not have spade grips. SO much more comfortable.
