Typhoon vs. JSF in BVR

Which would have the edge over the other in BVR?

If the JSF is goint to be superior to the Eurofighter in BVR, I’m wondering what’s the point of buying Eurofighters as air superiority fighters and JSFs as strike fighters. The RAF is doing this.
