I am looking to head to the West Coast next July (unfortunately the expensive period), around Vancouver/Seattle/Portland area. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with flights there and as such knew of the most reasonable priced carrier?
Zoom was obviously my first thought from Glasgow which comes out at around £550 but can I beat it?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,
Symon

I’ve just been booking some flights, and found www.kayak.co.uk really good.

Haha, a certain airline actually had nice fares, similar to Zoom (but full service), but the dates only went up to the end of June. Useless for me seeing as I should be busy picking up a nice scroll with my name on it in the last week of June!
Alas, I shall keep looking 😉

Although competitive price wise you will stay away from a certain airline if you want to see your BAggage while on holiday.

True enough, I will look into that. Though I do like the convenience of getting straight there :p

You’d be hard pushed to beat £550 at that time of year for the West Coast.
Try looking for a cheapo flight to somewhere like NYC or Miami and picking up a domestic flight on a separate booking, that sometimes works nicely.
