UAS New Arrival

Here are a few photos of the Ulster Aviation Socities latest arrival. Following an extensive restoration, Alouette III, serial number 202, was generously donated to the societies growing collection by the Irish Aer Corps.

Regarding the tail planes, i`m pleased to say they have now been refitted, work on the Wildcat is ongoing, but there is still a lot of work to be done. As to the museum location, we are located in one of the T2 hangars at the former Maze prison, its home, but sadly it aint Langford.

How are UAS getting on with their Wildcat restoration ? Also what’s the latest on a new museum venue ? I remember visiting the collection years ago at Langford Lodge…what an atmospheric place that was,
