UFOs

I was watching a programe on UFOs today. They say one of the most UFO sightings have been in Israel. They also said although the military there keeps doins secret projects, but some videos show nothing like military projects.

Anyway, lets see you post best UFO pics you have to offer.

Hey.
I saw a UFO once, really scary thing if you ask me.
The weird thing is that when I told my friends, no one believed me. I described them the form of the object – some kind of a weird chariot in low altitude. Sounds weird and unlike any other UFO sighting, but about a week later, a local newspaper posted an interview with some kid that lives about 20km from me, and he said he saw exactly the same thing

UFOS

When stationed at RAF Benth2o/Woodbridge I had to answer the nutty letters about the “sighting” back in thw 80s.
Sadly, most of ther nuts were Americans…one guy wrote 9 to 12 page single spaced letters with no punctuation, it consisted entirely of a rambling question.
All I had to send them was the letter written by the former deputy base commander reporting the incident to the RAF & MOD.
I made no comments, just gave them the letter to let them figure out what the lieutenant colonel saw.

How come everytime a picture of a UFO is shown it’s always blurry, and when someone comes forward and says they were abducted by Aliens it’s always Virgil or Wilbur from the backwoods of Kentucky

Hi Guys,

Take a few minutes of your time and check this out.

If it’s Photoshop they sure paid close attention to the shadows.

Probably a hoax, and a good one, but I’d like a few expert opinions.

“If” ??? Apart of computer graphics, i see nothing on that site…

Surely the fact so many people worldwide have claimed to have seen UFO’s and all the video footage prooves that there is something strange going on?

Yes there probably is something out there as it were,But why is it most of the video and photo footage of such sightings is so poor?.Theres really good quality camera equipment cheaply available yet i have yet to see a photo that convinces me a 100%.
Also the term UFO means Unidentified Flying Object so i guess that does not really mean from out of space either?,There is a lot going on we do not know about and never will thats just how it is i guess.

Can you see the UFO… ? It was just above me to the right and at around 25000 feet or perhaps more?

It’s not in the shot of course but the engineering manager taking the picture spotted something odd just as he snapped me trying to keep up with a particularly frenetic shinty match.

He saw a white bullet shaped object just hovering up in the sky and asked one of the other camera ops with a massive 75:1 close up lens (roughly 900mm equivalent) to take a look at it.

As he turned round to look at it the object vanished from eye vision, by this time the match had finished, shinty is a quick game and we all tried to have a look. There it was again, visible to the naked eye, but we could all see it vanish as we tried to train the cameras on it.

There must have been about half a dozen of us watching this thing, vanish and reappear in the sky over a period of ten minutes or so.

One of the OB floor managers reported seeing bright lights whizzing across the horizon later that evening during his drive home down the A9 to Glasgow.

Very strange ?

RE: more UFOs again!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I’m hogging space but my mind is ticking over.On a lighter note lets pick a few of the popular theories around at present……..

A The Aztec/Toltec pyramids like Teotihuacan were built with the assistance of alien civilisations-Quite why they chose a bunch of bloodthirsty nutcases and stranger still why they didnt tell them that the Spanish were coming remains a mystery.
B The Ancient Egyptians were as thick as planks, they were assisted by the same aliens centuries before. These aliens have since formed the company we know as ‘Barrett’s’, quite why their workmanship is now so shoddy remains a mystery.
C Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed were alien envoys. It was their intention to create a master race but they were assassinated by the Royal Family who realised that there was only room for bunch of inbred spongers on this planet.
D Princess Diana survived the attempt on her life and is now assisting Elvis Presley in his chip shop.
E The many cattle abductions and mutilations reportedly perpetrated by aliens are a fact. This is because Foot and Mouth disease is rife around the Vogon-Dracoid Galactic Federation.
F The mutilations of sheep and cattle are carried out by alien hit squads who are jealous of our rump and topside.
G The Moon Landing in 1969 was real.Neil Armstrong was in fact a butcher who headed the mission in order to reclaim any of his cattle that were still roaming around the moon (if you look closely you can see the hair ruffling between their horns!)
H Elvis Presley was himself an alien, if you play Jailhouse Rock ‘ backwards you can hear the words …’We want your sirloin, uh-huh-hu’.

IT’S ALL TRUE YOU KNOW- SOMEBODY TOLD ME!

more UFOs

On a related point to the above I would ask you..’have you any idea of the many types of alien that are supposed to be visiting our planet?’ Many ‘respectable’ UFO organisations have an ‘A-Z of alien species’, the list is very long!We apparently have……… Alpha Centaurians
Andromedans
Nordics
Reptilians
Chupacabras
Mothmen
Men in Black
Greys
Greens
Silver-suited Cyclops
Blobs………………..I could go on and on!
I often put all this into perspective by thinking of it this way…….Alpha Centaurians, Andromedans, Reptilians, Greys, Men in Black, Reptilians, Greens, Nordics, Chupacabras, Yetis, Loch Ness Monsters, Ogopogos, Bigfoot, Fairies, Pixies, This God, That God, The Other God, Banshees, Kelpies, Leprechauns, Vampires, Werewolves,Angels, Devils, Demons, Ghouls, Ghosts, Poltergeists, Phantoms, Spirits, Witches, Warlocks, Gnomes, Elves, Wild Men Of The Woods, Slaughs, Zombies, Pwca, Imps, Sprites, Will O the Wisp, People who come from the centre of the earth, Ogres, Mothmen, The Living Dead, The Undead, People from the future, People from the past, Phantom trains/cars/ships/animals, Dinosaurs and cavemen in ‘Lost Worlds’………… it all seems quite ridiculous to me, how did Homo Sapiens ever get a foothold on the evolutionary scale with all these-AND MANY MANY MORE!!!!!!- powerful and magical beings around??????

RE: UFOs

Hello posters.
There seems to be a lot of confusion over the term UFO.It was originally coined to describe an object seen in the sky that was unidentifiable ie, not a known aircraft or spaceship. Now the term is synonymous with the term ‘alien spacecraft’. I f you tell me you have seen a UFO what you are telling me is that you have observed something that you can’t identify, that does’nt mean it is an alien craft-if you think you have seen an alien craft then you say ‘I have seen an alien craft’.But then again, how do you know what an alien craft looks like, there are plenty of earthbound craft that you dont know of let alone ‘ alien’ craft.
UFO’s have been observed since man began: a star in the sky was at on e time a UFO.UFO reports seem to mirror the technology of the day—–
In ancient times people described seeing ‘flaming chariots in the sky’as a chariot was as far as their imagination could stretch. After that people saw ‘phantom balloons’ as the balloon was the height of technology then.next it was ‘phantom airships’, then ‘Phantom flying machines'(for example the ‘Foo Fighters’ in WW2).Now we have ‘phantom spacecraft’as the height of our technology is rockets. The first reported sighting of a ‘Flying saucer ‘ was in 1947 by an American (say no more!!!!!!!!) called Kenneth Arnold who was flying a light aircraft.
This time coincides with the beginning of the science fiction movie genre, particularly in the States.I have no idea wether ‘aliens’ are visiting our planet or not, but my common sense tells me that they arent as no evidence whatsoever has been produced and I have been following this subject since I was 17 (now 45).There is plenty of ‘proof’ out there but it is always someone else who has got it!

RE: UFOs

yes handbag your quite right. it is very hard to tell. however we now have to compete with much higher forms of energy and increasingly more difficult areas of physics to make these breakthroughs. This leads me to believe that the technological and scientific advancement will begin to slow down in areas that deal with particle and qauntum physics. unfortunatley those distances needed to travel and those speeds that are needed to be reached to move anything of practical capacity are basically finite. they are what they are and two centuries i feel wont bring them a great deal closer. so far the only viable way of doing this is to constantly accelerate at quite a low magnitude forever basically.

You’re explaination is perfect I agree.
BUT …. based on early 21th century knowledge. What about in 2 centuries from now??? hard to tell

RE: UFOs

that technological barrier is the mastery of travelling ON beams of light.

as you guys probably know E=MC^2

which basically says that the faster you go the more energy you have the heavier you weigh. This would make travelling at anything like the speed of light just about impossible unless you are a proton or neutron for example. There are theories around regarding instantaeous travel which are in effect the belief that there are higher dimensions with which you can influence a particle or a number of particles at any distance away from the first particle- making it identical. since they cant do this with one electron or smaller across one room physicists wont be doing this with bananas for quite some time to come. no doubt the ability exists for people to travel our own star system with the practical reality of ion drives and some further work on nuclear reactors(fusion reactors would be a practical possibility about the time they start making space based starship factories), and no doubt that with not a great deal of modification exiting our star system and travelling towards the next wouldnt be impossible but it is highly improbable and impractical. think of the distances and time involved you would have got through a generation by the time you had reached pluto, not really worthwhile. it is still too far fetched for me to believe that we have been visited by beings from another planet. ever watch a film called silent running- that was a good film!! with biospheres on ships!

allot of people have seen allot of things in the past on video and film but………soo many have proved to be fake, and natural phenomena that there are very few left to question now. I would still be willing to bet that what people have seen is man made. although it would appear very foolish to display technology such as this in broad daylight. perhaps the slow release of this information to the general public?? or a malfunctioning shielding system! they could have course,as one of the theories goes, come from the dark side of the moon where the US(why ALWAYS THE US??)has a military science and research base and is ‘studying the human population’ and travels the space lanes between here and the moon at phenomenal speeds lol. not as far fetched as some may think, we have the technology to live on mars…………….

RE: UFOs

Coanda ,

You’re right. Let’s just consider this.

16th century : the scientist still consider that earth is flat and we are the center of the universe.

1900 : The best car has a max speed of 20km/h
1969 : The first man walks on the moon.

Well don’t you thinks that some technological barrier might be broken very soon?

RE: UFOs

Interesting topic indeed.
This kind of believe is very close to the one we discussed about on last week , I mean: Do you believe in God?

UFO’s : I don’t know!!!

As a matter of fact let’s keep in minds two things.

– UFO’s existence has not been officially proved yet.
– If one consider a very basic probability calculation: billion of objects in the Milky way (our galaxy) and billions of other galaxies.
I reallly believe that the odds we are alone are close to zero!!!!

RE: UFOs

theres lots of stuff about UFO’s etc all pie in the sky(if you’ll excuse the pun) I have read a fair bit and it only makes me believe that its less water tight than a pair of fishnet stockings. A lot of it has to do with the impossibility of the physics of travel at a speed sufficient to cross galaxies for example. or the fact that beings would probably need to be able to pop in and out of dimensions at will and be able to calculate when to do that. what a load of tosh. what I do find intersting tho is……………

the ability to make pyramids with such precision
some of the more outlandish biblical stories
deformed heads in south america
the nazca lines
older texts- some indian

these things describe some interesting events things that arent that well explained- I think the whole ancient egyptian scene is quite fascinating really.

UFO’s could well be a number of things from comets to meteors to clouds to fog to ‘bin lids. Supposedly there are a number of american projects that could account for this one being the aurora another being the TR3 their are others which it is claimed are able to bounce around on the earths magnetic field using potential electromagnetic forces, shielding the occupants from intense accelerationn using an electrostatic field. I believe there are or were at one time about 50 research projects funded through darpa or other DOD agencies concerning anti gravity propulsion! aurora supposedly visited RAF machrihanish(cambeltown airport) on the tip of western scotland an old RAF base made a permament detachment to a SEAL force during the cold war and has brand new facilities whilst described by the RAF as being in a storage state. stealth fighters and bombers are also supposed to have visited there during testing, using the long straight in approach over the sea to avoid detection.

that and there were working flying saucers during the second world war and after leads me to believe that alot of what we see is man made or natural.

I have had a very real dream, but only one and only very short- and it was freaky! i really couldnt decide whether it was real or not!!

I do not understand mass hysteria/visions- thats like saying all of our individual computers- which are not networked or internet capable- get the same virus at the same instant can anyone explain that?
