UFOs Nuts a Threat to Aviation Safety

I feel that some nutty UFO/paranormal enthusiasts are a threat to aviation safety.

I just watched a few minutes of the show that I think was named “Paranormal State“: “First Contact“. Some of the cast couldn’t seem to hide that the show was a farce. Some of the cast seemed to get caught up in their act and started to get paranoid and hysterical (they seem to start believing their lies). At one point they were walking through the woods and they would get hysterical at almost every little unfamiliar sound or sight (they obviously were not experienced woodsman). They seem to be spazing out at shadows, tree trunks, etc… It seemed that every time a branch broke or something fell in the woods that they automatically assumed it was something supernatural. It seemed like they scared themselves so bad that they fled the woods and went out into an open field where their cars were parked. They then looked up in the night sky and started freaking out at almost every airplane and/or meteor that they saw (they obviously were not pilots or experienced stargazers. They seemed more like drug addicts or mental patients having paranoid delusions). Lights in the night sky that looked like airplanes to me; they would spaz out and call them UFOs and imply that they were supernatural/extraterrestrial. To point out to other observers it seemed that they were shining lasers and high powered spotlights at the “UFOs“.

The lasers that they seemed to be using seemed to be low power and probably more or less no direct safety hazard; however the behavior on this show may encourage others to use even more high-powered lasers to shine on aircraft. I’m under the impression that in most cases it is against the law for the general public to casually shine lasers on aircraft regardless of the power of the laser.

The spotlight that they were using were high powered but probably not high enough power to blind a pilot flying at high altitude; however I thought in most cases that it was against the law and a possible safety hazard to shine spotlights at aircraft; especially if it is deliberate.

I feel that such activity could possibly be a threat to aviation safety. I feel that shining aircraft in such a manner could be misinterpreted as a distress signal which could risk the lives of emergency responders at the expense of taxpayers. I feel that such activity could be misinterpreted and or used as a guise for terrorist activity.

The latest video from the laser lady. Here she is out yesterday with a friend blatantly lasering at aircraft. She has already proved with her Jan 20th video that AH-64s are using her area for routine flying. This lady and her friends are going to cause a serious accident one of these days!

Everything flying now is one giant conspiracy theory. Watch the following video of these claimed morphing aircraft. They can’t even work out why an airliner can produce three contrails!

Have a look at his You Tube channel. Filming at extreme zoom and with the aircraft at that height atmospheric distortion is going to produce all sorts of anomalies. Unable, or unwilling, to acknowledge those facts they peddle this as fact.

You just have to look at the comments on the videos to see how gullible people really are. Obviously the comments are edited so they reside happily in their own little world of agreement.

After looking at the videos posted by TEEJ…
IMHO, the woman is mentally ill.

She needs some sort of help, but if she went for help she’d propably find a nutty shrink who’d “validate” her feelings to make her feel better.

Let me get this correct…she thinks the reason we haven’t seen a UFO is because they have to technology to “shape shift” a UFO into a common airplane. Do I have this right?

If they’re that advanced, why don’t we just say thay have the Star Trek Kingon invisibility cloak…so we can’t see them at all.
That way she can tell us there may be an alien right next to us at this very moment!

But the Klingons really exist…I see them on telly all the time…!

‘Telegraph article’

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/lawandorder/6973449/New-law-bans-shining-laser-beams-at-aircraft.html

A new Law has come into force that is specific to shining a light/laser into a pilots face ….its supposed to make prosecution easier … rather than having to ‘Prove’ the actual aircraft was endangered …we shall see .

She needs to be illuminated by a laser, prefably attached to a Heckler & koch.

No harm in that, but the problem is that some of them are trying to communicate using laser light pens and powerful torches.

One such lady is Alison Kruse in the U.S. Here she is blatantly shining a laser pen at an aircraft. Although it is clearly at a distance the problem arises
if a helicopter flew close to her house and she pointed a laser pen at it. Video from a You Tuber who reported her to the FAA.

Alison Kruse lives in Pennsylvania to the east of two major aiports. The traffic pattern is visible from her raised location. Not suprisingly aircraft transit over her location!

This sad individual obviously needs help..she could cause a major catastrophe with such doltish behaviour

I totally agree with you on this, ATFS. That programme you metioned is available on the web if you search the title. It was made in 2008 and obviously sparked the interest of the UFO community. It also highlighted the idiotic practice of shining laser pointers at aircraft.

The owner of Gillilands Ranch at the end of last year closed it off to the public. Probably because since then he’s made a nice tidy profit off the back of the media and UFO hunters!

http://naturalplane.blogspot.com/2009/10/james-gilliland-declares-eceti-ranch.html

It is the gullibility and naivety of some of these people that astounds me. At least the ‘researchers’ in the programme can admit that a strobing light is
actually an aircraft!

The danger to aviation safety comes from those that believe that the little green men are mimicking normal aircraft. The theory was put out by a UFO nutjob going by the name of Dr Bruce Cornet. With the advent of You Tube every UFO nutjob with a video camera has been out filming these ‘fake, morphing alien craft’.

Her You Tube Channel. Well worth a view just to see how gullible people can be.

The ‘orbs’ that she is filming with her night vision camera is the traffic pattern of Allegheny County airport, Pennsylvania. She believes that the ‘orbs’ are coming out of the woods next to her house and invites people down to watch her film. Obviously the aircraft transit over the area where she lives!

…..However, if any ETs were on the Earth at this time, I think that they would very easily be able to conceal themselves whilst observing our insane behavior and at the same time trying to hold themselves in from bursting out with laughter (such as in “Bigus Dickus” in the Life of Brian).

We know a song about that don’t we, boys and girls? 🙂

Just remember that you’re standing on a planet that’s evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,
That’s orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it’s reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of the galaxy we call the ‘Milky Way’.

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars.
It’s a hundred thousand light years side to side.
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick,
But out by us, it’s just three thousand light years wide.
We’re thirty thousand light years from galactic central point.
We go ’round every two hundred million years,
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute, and that’s the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you’re feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there’s intelligent life somewhere up in space,
‘Cause there’s b*gger all down here on Earth.

SETI, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence is alive and well. I ‘ve received more than my share of letters/tapes from UFO belivers over the years. They’re convinced we’re being visited and anyone who doesn’t share their view is in on a great conspiracy.

Aside from shining lasers, there is some really irresponsible reporting out there. A couple of years ago on another aviation forum, someone posted a link to a UFO site that purported to show the underwater wreckage of a F-89 that was brought down by a UFO. Looking at the image, it was clearly a plastic model with a wing missing (a clean joint like it was never glued on). These idiots were convinced they’d found something, even though a jet hitting the water in an uncontrolled fashion would not stay in one piece and no one would try to ditch an F-89 with its low mounted air intakes.
It would have been a bit funny if two men hadn’t died in the missing plane. IMHO, their purported “find” is in extremely bad taste, rather like faking war grave souvineers.

I’m sure there are some UFO fans who are rational, normal people who lead regular lives.
I haven’t seen many, but I’m sure they’re out there. 😀

The threat is present in the UK and is prosecutable under the charge of ‘endangering an aircraft’. Despite this it is still happening a lot, though it is mostly low-IQ scrotes trying to inconvenience the police eggbeaters, so our magnificent government is bringing in a law to make it illegal.. which if you have been following my drift, it is already.

Obviously when it is doubly illegal the scrotes will stop instantly.

You couldn’t make it up.
