Nimrod AEW3 is a good point. I saw one display at Hatfield and it was a bit of a shock.

Either version they were all boxes that proper aircraft came in!

Or even worse, the Comet which was fitted with dummy AEW radomes as a display aircraft. I saw it at Farnborough in 1978. I think it was dubbed “Superconk” by the tabloid press.

My esteemed colleague, I’m inclined to agree with you. Like a slimmed-down Gannet, methinks.

I’ll have another drink, barman, and maybe that psycho-Russki kite will end up looking like a Spitfire 😉

Was that PZL jet biplane ever used ?
Looks like it would have some outstanding flying qualities.

As for the Bychok, I reckon it actually doesn’t look half bad:)
