UK Aircraft Register

Good evening guys,

Excuse my ‘n00b’ question but is there somewhere a more detailed register to determine who the exact owner of a particular airframe is?

I mean in particular civil registered light aircraft and historical military register aircraft. The MAM2008 book stated many of the older military registered aircraft as ‘Privately Owned, (location)

Is there anywhere to determine who the owner actually is?

Check the A/C Lease agreement if applicable, I’ve done Releases for large amounts for liability damage or runway excursions and there have been 13 interests in the aeroplane. OK it was Aeroflot, however, the point remains the same.
Just because the registered owner is ILFC, for example, doesn’t mean they are the only interest, also that don’t mean they own the engines but that’s another lease nightmare…

If you want a “paper” document Air Britain publish the UK register annually. It is a comprehensive document.
