UK commiting forces to European Rapid Reaction Corps- Your opinion?

Tony Blair, has recently commited 20,000 troops (12,500 combat, 7,500 support), 72 combat aircraft (aswell as transport aircraft) and 18 warships. The plan is to create a RRC numbering 60,000 consisting of European countries, just think of communication problems French, German, Polish etc it would be a nightmare. Oh and by the way all these forces need to be deployable within 60 days. Not many countires have that kind of heavy lift. Planes and ships etc.

Is this right, 20,000 troops is quarter of the British Regular Army does this leave enough for every other operation. If the Army was bigger I would totally agree with commiting these armed forces, but we just don’t have enough troops. I personally think it should be at least 120,000.
