Isnt it odd that I make 2 posts on the same day, the other coincidentally concerning the Yakovlevs, and yet they both seemed to have merged into one. mightily convienient people….well done:D

No wind up, I knew it could not be TBMs and the general concencus of opinion was either Yaks or Harvards. It was a formation of four rather than a loose gaggle.

Coincidentally, a friend of mine claims that four flew over him in Dorset this afternoon…… Anybody know what they might have been?

Yaks perhaps? One of the display teams such as “The Yakovlevs” or whatever they are called these days …?

I well remember seeing the Avenger up close and personal at East Fortune a few years back now, and it flew later in the day.

Ahhh thats a shame. Is there any word on the aviation grapevine as to another one being brought over to the UK?
