Following on from the ‘T-6/Harvards in the UK’ thread, here are a selection of ‘G-‘ registered T-6/Harvards I’ve snapped over the years. Details are in the file name (right click & click on ‘save picture as’), except for a few unknowns
Geoff.

It’s been for sale for a few years, probably stored until it finds a buyer.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the id on AZBN. I see it is not currently airworthy. Does anyone know if the plane is under rebuild, or just stored?

You beat me to it Mike J! It is the Ex-OFMC Harvard, The rear screen was removed to film the tale chase in ‘Peice of Cake’ I also dont have the referance to hand, but I will post tomorrow.
I have a ‘Diverse Images’ Model of this Harvard in that scheme, but it has got round wingtips! I’m surprised that Diverse didn’t get it right.

Hmm, Geoff, is that a Supercub I see hiding behind the snout of the second T6 in the second batch? 😉
I have noted on the back of the photo ‘Piper J-3C-65 Cub G-BGTI’, does that help?? Shall I have a look through my albums for Cub pix then Steve???
Geoff.
P.S. I also have some photos of Dutch & Belgian T-6s over here, T-6 fiftieth anniversary etc.

There’s no flies on us lot, Locobuster. 😀
Yes, TJ, I did see Numan’s plane in it’s new colors on the other T-6/Harvard thread quite an improvement IMHO. I was never really a fan of his music but I remembered seeing some footage of him flying it in the Japanese paint scheme on a “where are they now” show a few years back. My girlfriend went off on a rant about musicians always wanting to be pilots as she pointed to my aviation art hanging above my bass amp 😀

LOL, nevermind my question, I found the answer in the other T-6/Harvard thread. Man this is a great place, my question was actually already answered before I asked it 😀
I actually wondered whether to answer it, or ignore it hoping you would go away 😉 😀 😀 Well, really I had both T-6 threads open at the same time, trying to reply on both simultanously, something which is not easy 🙂 Guess you saw SC in the “new” colors on the other thread. LaHarve’s photo #2 is also Gary Numan’s plane!

Big thanks to Von Perthes as well for getting all these photos out there for all to see. Very good! The first one is G-TEAC in its last color scheme. The next to last camo painted Harvard is unknown to me as well. Does anyone have a clue? The last one with #27 is Dave Gilmour’s G-BRVG.

Is G-AZSC Gary Numan’s old Harvard?
