A recent excellent Tv programme series on Discovery Turbo has been detailing military equipment in Afghanistan.
Last week a sequence would have brought tears to the eyes of military serial spotters. A hand launched drone(model aircraft) held together with tape over polystyrene wings was shown.Amazingly it carried a video camera and transmitter to send live video back the the troops.
Scribbled on the top surface in small black rough marker pen letters was the serial number in the ZH range ! The spotters are never going to complete their underlining of these tiny war weary models.

Would it have been a Short Skeet.
Not bothered about getting serial numbers but in the future military aircraft will show up at model aircraft shows and will be a couple of blokes in military fatigues and a trailer. That is enough to make me cry.
