Underground hangars, reprise

Since the previous one ended up in a good old frenzy of Kosovo Counting, let’s try again.

Here is a pretty interesting pic of PLAAF J-6es in their mountain hangar. The unit is the 9th Division, the airbase should be Shaoguan but i’m not sure about that – perhaps Rick can confirm.

Noteworthy is that the hangar seems to be built like a tunnel (it is curved), probably with two exits. This hangar is pretty narrow (the one at Datang Shan is about three or four times as wide), but DTS is an uncommonly wide rock hangar though. Most are about as wide as this one. Unfortunately i have never seen maintenance being done in such a hangar, but i reckon it must be pretty hard considering the cramped space.
