Underwater Ejection Sea Vixen

Can anyone out there tell us whether the underwater ejection sequence was adopted by the Royal Navy? And if so what type of lifejacket was worn by Sea Vixen crews, we are collectors of aviation equipment and are mystified by this innovation by Martin Baker Co/Frankenstein & Son (Air/Sea Equipment Manufacturer) Any Safety Equipment fitters “SQUIPPERS” out there please help if possible!

Oooh I don’t know, there are plenty of PPLs flying JPs and Gnats with bang seats, although the survival rate when you don’t use them seems to be higher than when you do……

This would be better posted in ‘Historic’ . GA has never really embraced the whole ejection seat bit, though the Cirrus has a parachure for the entire airframe!
