I think they are taking part in a mass airborne drop over the D Day beaches/main drop areas on 6th June more info on their www.facebook.com/pages/Dakotas-over-Normandy/205732752926694
wish i was in work and able to go but not ………… have had a ticket given to me for the Saturday at Duxford though so will be there most of the day.

There is a C47 scheduled to rest at Prestwick for a day or two next week, on route to Duxford.

Brian is quite right – but as there are two US based Daks mentioned on that list it might be of interest to you that the one we have on “our” apron at CVT is that operated by: Tradewind Aviation, Oxford, Connecticut. I believe the 2nd US Dak is due to leave the US on Weds this week.
