Unknown 1944 dated RAF Aircraft Seat …?

Hi,

I have here in my collection a 1944 dated Aircraft seat (passenger seat?). I have no idea to which type of aircraft this seat belonges. Could you please help me with the answer. I hope you can read my English ….. .

You are absolutely right, I checked the Halifax C Mk VIII AP and the seats shown herein are identical.:o
Typical Troop Seats they are described.

27H = Miscellaneous Aircraft Equipment, suggesting that this type of seat may have been fitted to more than one aircraft type.
