Unknown Booty Bird

I call this a “booty bird” because despite the timber cross it surely is not German. One might think it is Junkers W 34, but the latter wears its engine always in cowls, here the cabin roof is too glassy, there is no bend in the back line and the tailfin is much too big and round.

The appearance of products from the Bloch, Dewoitine and Potez brands makes me think this aircraft is also originally French. But checking the usual suspects from Wibault and Caudron on aviafrance.com also gave no close hits. It is also not in the booty section of luftarchiv.de.

Do you know this aircraft? Surely you do!

Thank you for helping me!

BTW, the picture was found on modelforum.cz., without any comment there.

Oops, German!

The trouble with these Klemms is you normally consider them as very small aircraft. But in fact it has a longer wingspan (12 m) than the Bf 109 has (9.9 m)!

Thank you!

We had a thread on this image over on the LEMB when it first appeared on eBay back on 11th January 2011 and the general consensus was that it was a Klemm Kl31/Kl32
