Found an identical one on a recce spit, one side is marked AM Film Spool the other side to the spool is not, I guess this is not. Yes they are about 6.5cm from memory, found the same on a Halifax also.

That was my thought as well, but if it’s 6.5cm across it’s for a whopping great length of film or a huge format.

First part is a bomb loading winch cable guide from one of the 16 bomb positions in the bombay floor
Last picture is T31085 bomb gear winch housing where you would feed the cable through to winch the bomb’s up

I have highlighted both parts on the attached for you.

I can’t find the part number of the first item in my manual
2nd item looks to be part of the cover for the threshold of the main crew entry door.
3rd item appears to be the faceplate for a landing gear indicator?
4th item is a panel fastener for either a cowling or possibly oil tank level access panel or fuel filler access panel
5th item try cleaning it up some more and look for a part number especially on that swivel joint

Thanks to all for the reply,s
It,s great that already part 1,2 and 3 have been specified.
On part 4: the material is aluminium and not brass, and there are two laiers of perspex, unfortunately i can see no stamps.
I found it where i think the cockpit and the front of the aircraft crashed.

There should be a number on that brass knob.. 11D/3029 could put it as being from the fresh air vent in the bomaimers nose section either side of fuselage.

I think that part 4 might be part of the air vent mounted within the gun turret perspex. There’s certainly something very similar on our FN5

Part 3 looks like the bottom of the carb air intake operating lever on the pilots floor.

The Avimo coupling will almost certainly be from the engine installation. Generally used on coolant and breather pipework.

I don’t have or can’t find 5/R2103. But I do have Avro drawings
7/R2103 Distance Tube
8/R2103 Chain retaining block Aileron control sprocket behind rear spar.
9/R2103 Rubbing plate: Aileron control sprockets behind rear spar
11/R2103 Rubbing plate: Aileron control sprockets behind rear spar

“Behind rear spar” suggests perhaps that the part was in the wing attached to the ailerons, not in the Front Centre Section

Very close!

According to the Spare Parts list, 5/R.2103 is a SPROCKET, aileron sprocket mounting, from the front centre section – flying controls. From the parts listed next to it, it appears to be attached to the control column. There’s probably something very similar, if not the same, on the extension arm for dual controls.

4/Q.914 is listed under front centre section – hydraulic system, and is described as LEVER, for operating rod.

Can’t help with the Avimo part.
