A work colleague and I have just seen (approximate time 15:35) a single, light grey, fast jet fly directly overhead Calke Abbey house.
It was quieter than an F-15, and about the same size as one.
It was flying slightly lower than is normal and flying a lot faster.
It wasn’t delta winged as it had elevators at the rear and it had a twin tail.
