Unusual Challenge – Director of Aviation Factory 1939

I recently acquired a  Newman cartoon at auction and I put a low bid on an oil painting that was the next lot. I got both.

The oil painting is marked as being by MRS D.F. Kent of Redroof, Sandown Lane, Esher.

And the aviation link is:

We have been searching and we think that this is Daisy Florence Kent who in 1939 census is listed as living in Kingston Upon Thames and occupation as Director and Secretary of Aircraft Factory.

We think that later she marries a Mr Whittaker who also was a Director of a nearby engineering factory.

I assume this is Hawkers ?

Anyone willing to take up the challenge of matching Daisy Florence to Hawkers ?
