I just want to say that I was impressed with the effort everyone made to make Steve feel so welcome. With all due respect to Key Publishing, this had nothing to do with who owns the forum but to the generosity of the people on it. I will exclude myself from this as I only went along on Monday to be rude to him in order to provide some balance, and to give him the ammunition to devise his apparently accurate impersonation of me.
In my various trips to the US I have always been very well looked after by people I have met on the ‘net and I am very pleased to see that we can reciprocate.
Award yourselves a pat on the back and then get back to work. Don’t gloat.

Welcome Back
My computer has just told me it’s going to take 127 minutes to download all my photos, so look for some good stuff this evening/tomorrow morning, as well as my formal report…”What I did on my UK holiday” AKA “If this is Tuesday that must be a Lancaster”.
I’m about half way through the pile of stuff on my desk. OK, back to work.
Steve
When we see you next time @ Breckenridge, is it Sir Steve?
Glad to see the welcome given to him over there.
Cheers,
Lynn

(Can’t resist)
What Elephant joke?

From my own point of view I have always been royally treated by the local Enthusiasts when I have ventured across the pond.
It was nice to repay the favour, if only in a small way.
Oh and Melvin, we have now all heard the Elephant joke!!

“I’m about half way through the pile of stuff on my desk. OK, back to work.”
Are you using a shovel, matches or the fire extinguisher?

You can be as nice as you like, but Steve’s still got some great pics to post of various forum members…

Great job, fellers.
I think Steve’ll be glad to get back to work for a rest.

I’d second Melv’s comment.
He IS being unusually serious.
Stop it now Melv, Kylie won’t like it.

I’ll second darrenharbar’s comments. You guys have been real ambassadors for us all and I think that Steve has become a legend in his own lifetime on this forum!!!!
Just hoped you checked his baggage before he left for Hurricanes and the like…

Yes well done to you guys for looking after Steve. You have all given up a lot of time from what I have seen and heard, and have arranged some unique things for Steve.

Hear hear.
It was a big team effort (well, some of the team were big) and lots of extras were pulled out of the hat. a continuous stream of planes, beer, and witty repartee was provided; you know who you are, many thanks.
Oh, and I enjoyed it too.
Two budgies to go please.
Cheers
